While in the local library I picked up a leaflet that said win £1000 by writing a poem, must only be 20 lines, What I could do with £1000.
So I sent off three poems.
Then received a letter from United press with what they said was very good news,It said even though you didnt win through to the National Poetry Antholgy 2009. with my permission they still wanted to print my poem in their new book, called the guiding light. which can be ordered at all good book shops, normal price £17.70 please add £3.81 for p&p postage free if you order more than one copy,
No mention of who won
So they collect poems from people for nothing not even a free copy of the guiding light,
I think they have cheek,

They are toe-rags! Well spotted. This is a bit of a scam because everynoe of course wants to order a few copies of the book for their friends a family, £20, £40 £60 later……
Your poems are too good for their scam. Put them on the blog instead!!!!
